Exclusive first look for GSIA ENGAGE 2026

Cicospace GSIA

The keynote industry’s first A&R

We scout speakers the way labels scout bands.

Cicospace has spent years filming this industry from the back of the room. We are turning that into the job the keynote world never had. GSIA is the first to see it.

In music there is A&R.

They are the scouts of the industry. They go find talent and bring it back to the labels.

The keynote world does not have that.

So we built it.

A&R is the oldest job in a record label and it has survived about seventy years, because nobody has found a substitute for it. A label sends a person to the club to sit through four bad sets and watch what the crowd does on the fifth. You cannot tell from a tape whether a room actually turned.

What we are not

Not a bureau. Not a manager.

Not a bureau. We do not book speakers and we do not hold dates.
Not a manager. We do not represent anyone and we do not take a cut of a fee.

Which is the whole reason an industry leader can take our call. We are not sitting on the other side of the table from them, and we never will be.

Why it matters now

A reel on its own proves nothing.

A demo reel used to cost thirty thousand dollars, or it came off Fiverr. Having a good one meant something. We commercialised the middle, and the barrier collapsed. Now everybody has a good reel.

It is the difference between owning your name dot com in 1997 and owning it today. Same asset, completely different signal.

On the other side, an agent gets hundreds of emails a day. There is no shortage of speakers and no way to verify a single one of them. They want to meet new talent and they cannot filter.

Think about how a booking usually happens. Somebody watches a reel. Somebody else vouches. A rate card gets passed around. Not one person in that chain was in the room on the night.

That is the job.

How it works

Discover, produce, distribute.

Discover

We go and watch.

We have seen hundreds of speakers, live and in person. That is the thing that earns the rest of it.

Produce

Nothing about the production side changes.

We still cut the demo reels. We still film the events. Same building, same crew, same standard everybody already knows us for. The scouting sits on top of that work, it does not replace it.

Distribute

We put it in front of the people who book.

Agents, association presidents, managers, publishers. Sometimes a warm Zoom intro, sometimes a live audition on the screen in our studio.

Watched live

232 speakers seen

Updated monthly. Not one of them from a tape.

Name anyone on the list and we will tell you exactly how it went. It is not a client list and it is not an endorsement.

The Ethical Production Promise

Four promises we do not move on.

As footage got cheaper and AI got easier, a reel stopped being evidence of anything. This is what we put in front of every desk we sit down with.

No hired rooms. We have never paid for a crowd and never will. If a room was full, it was full.
No generated footage. Not in the cut, not in the b-roll, not anywhere. What is on screen is how the night actually went.
Nobody unseen.Live, on a real stage or in our own room, before a camera is commissioned.
We tell the desk the truth. Before any introduction we say privately where we think the speaker actually is. An audition is called an audition.

Fifteen minutes, no pitch. It costs us nothing to be honest, and it is the only reason anybody calls us a second time.
